The Freeman's State did not suffer what the rest of America did. In fact, the Freeman's state had an economic boom, after the now government took control. This states stretches from Washington to Michigan to Arkansas.
Georgia sacrificed its land for the sake of battle, controlling much of the war from spreading into the states around it. New Georgia consists of all land from Louisiana to South Carolina.
With loyal support from Mexico, the western states were saved during a surprise invasion from the U.S. Federal government. This loyalty was brought to deal and now Mexico spans from Texas to California.
